Peter Martin is the Vice Chairman of FocusPoint International and the Global CEO of the Dalton Group of Companies Inc. As a business leader and current international security practitioner, Mr. Martin has worked extensively in the Global Security & Crisis Response markets for over 27 years. Prior to joining FocusPoint, Peter’s career has included time as a Correctional Services Officer, Close Quarter Weapons / Use of Force Instructor, Security Contractor, and EVP of Corporate Security for the world’s largest cash logistics company operating in 187 countries worldwide. Beyond his experience in the international security industry, he is a recognized subject matter expert in crisis management, use of force, threat/risk assessment, personal and physical security measures.

Mr. Martin is a graduate of the Niagara College Law & Security Administration Program with honors and holds advanced certifications in Corporate Finance from the New York Institute of Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions from the International Investment Banking Institute and is currently enrolled in the Harvard Advanced Executive Education Program. He also maintains active memberships in the Department of State Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC), the International Security Management Association (ISMA) and the Young President Organization (YPO).

Mr. Greg Pearson is the Co-Founder, President and CEO of FocusPoint International. Greg is an industry veteran with over 30 years of proven experience in the security and risk management space. Greg has successfully led diverse teams engaged in executing critical missions for both public and private organizations, operating globally in well over 120 countries. Greg’s experience and exposure includes living and working overseas while serving in rapid deployment units as a non-commissioned officer in the US Army; as a law enforcement officer with the State of California; and as an executive engaged in scaling businesses through strategic mergers, acquisitions and organic growth. Greg has a passion for scaling growth-oriented businesses, product innovation and market disruption. Core competencies and areas of focus center on crisis management, with an emphasis on advising and responding to matters related to kidnap for ransom, extortion, political risks and travel risk management. Greg is the chief architect of CAP, the company’s flagship travel assistance solution, that addresses medical and travel security related issues that impact business and leisure travelers. James Scally is the Chief Financial Officer of FocusPoint International. James brings more than 25 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, and financial planning. In his role, he is responsible for developing and overseeing financial accounting and treasury policy, and for managing all the financial affairs of the corporation.

After obtaining his Certified Public Accountant, CPA license, Mr. Scally practiced in public accounting and internal audits prior to moving to the operational side of the business. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in accounting from Kent State University. He also received his Executive MBA from Baldwin Wallace College, where he studied in the areas of executive management, problem-solving, effective communication, finance operations, group dynamics, team leadership, human resources management, organizational structure and behavior, and international awareness. James is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA).

Dr. Michael Odinet - Chief Medical Officer


Dr.Michael Odinet is the Chief Medical Officer for FocusPoint International. Dr. Odinet was born and raised in Arabi La. He attended Louisiana State University where he was a member of the football team and graduated with a BS in Microbiology. Dr. Odinet then attended medical school at LSUHSC in New Orleans, graduating in 2002. Michael completed four years of Emergency Medicine residency training at Charity Hospital in New Orleans, where he served as chief resident in his last year. During that time, Dr. Odinet coordinated all resident duties and schedules during hurricane Katrina and spent 6 days in the hospital caring for patients with minimal resources and no power. After the evacuation, he led efforts to perform search and rescue for trapped citizens in their homes. Coordinating with the military, he then set up mobile medical units throughout the city to care for patients 24 hours a day until rescue efforts were completed. Dr. Odinet eventually established a temporary hospital, while revisions could be made to the LSU interim hospital that is being used today.

After completion of his training, Dr. Odinet was offered a full-time academic faculty position at LSU. He accepted this while also pursuing medicine for a private practice, which brought him to Lafayette in 2006. Dr. Odinet has served on the Medical Executive Committee for the last 3 years at Our Lady of Lourdes hospital.

Ryan Hawley serves as the President of Medical Assistance for FocusPoint International. Mr. Hawley has over 20 years of experience in healthcare, including emergency medicine, air medical transport, and disaster management. He served as the Incident Commander for North America’s largest civilian disaster response unit and one of the largest municipal evacuations in Canadian history. Ryan has conducted over 250 medical transports globally and advised multiple hospital systems on mass casualty and pandemic response management.

Mr. Hawley oversees the strategic growth of FocusPoint International’s medical division, with completed missions in over 140 countries to date. Core competencies and areas of focus include medical repatriation, case management, and bed-finding globally. He has traveled extensively across the globe and is a frequent speaker at multiple international conferences. Ryan graduated from Trent University’s nursing program in his hometown of Peterborough, Ontario.

Mr. David Mace is an Executive Vice President for FocusPoint International and responsible for managing the company’s product strategy and the insurance and financial services vertical. David was formerly a market entry consultant for a UK-based boutique specialty lines facility supported by Lloyd’s of London. David brings over 15 years of experience in crisis and risk management services marketing, underwriting and advisory of kidnap for ransom, international casualty, high-limit personal and occupational accident, and product contamination/recall risk exposures. He is trilingual, speaking Spanish and English both as a mother-tongue, and French.

David’s career in Crisis Management began at AIG, where he became Zonal Assistant Vice President for the Southwest United States. David has advised multinational companies primarily in the oil and gas, food and beverage, and technology industries, large non-profit entities with diverse international projects, and small businesses, and high net worth individuals requiring risk management advice on hostile environment operations and asset protection preparedness. His work experience and geographic areas of expertise include North, Central and South America, Europe, and North and Sub-Saharan Africa.

David received an International Politics & Economics (IPE) degree from Middlebury College in Vermont. His IPE work also involved a semester program in Comparative Politics and Middle Eastern culture studies at the Paris Institut d’Études Politiques “Sciences Po”. After working for Deloitte & Touche Consulting and the United Nations Development Program in Honduras and Central America, Mr. Mace later earned his International MBA from ASU’s Thunderbird Graduate School for International Business in Arizona, where he was distinguished with Pi Sigma Alpha honors for political science studies. David holds the following insurance advisor/solicitor licenses; general lines agent, surplus lines broker, re-insurance manager, and continuing education state-approved provider.

Mr. Stephen Anderson has developed a unique knowledge base in the area of security, travel-related marketing, and management. He started off managing an airport hotel staff of 30, where he liaised with federal authorities on many travel security-related investigations and was given full airport security clearance with the RCMP. He later worked for a major hotel building developer where he managed the sales and marketing team, coordinated security and public access plans for the new development in Toronto, Canada.

Since joining FocusPoint, Stephen directs and administers an internal marketing and client excellence team, coordinates all initiatives in relation to marketing, advertising, communications, trade shows, and events for FocusPoint and each of its sister companies globally.

Stephen is also trained in Personal Security Awareness, Self-Applied Protective Measures, and Travel Security for Overseas Business Travelers. He was the project manager for the construction and design of the Canadian headquarters in Milton, Ontario, which is equipped with state-of-the-art security. He is an Advisory Board member of GBTA (Global Business Travel Association), a member of ASIS (the American Society of Industrial Security, IAAI (the International Association of Arson Investigators), HRPAO (the Human Resource Professionals Association of Ontario), and its Manitoba counterpart HRMAM.

Mr. Ed Zukowski is the Vice President of Human Resources for FocusPoint International. Ed brings over 25 years of human resources, training, and employee development experience to his role at FocusPoint. Prior to joining the FocusPoint International team, Ed held the top HR role for a Cleveland based corporation for over six years with earlier career roles in operations, training, and management. Core competencies include experience in conflict resolution, employee counseling, workplace safety, accident investigation and documentation, benefits administration, government compliance, corporate-level recruiting, policy and procedure creation & adherence, culture, and employee engagement.

Mr. Zukowski is a member of The Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and served for three consecutive years on the business advisory committee for United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Cleveland. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business management with a human resources option from Penn State University and completed management continuing education classes at Cornell University.

Leon Sharon - Senior Director, Special Operations


Mr. Lee Sharon is the Senior Director of Special Operations at FocusPoint International and also serves as a Crisis Assistance Team (CAT) Leader for CAP response, as well as a training officer, program manager, case officer for KR&E response, and a lead close protection agent for high-risk assignments. Lee has served as a senior consultant, advisor, and subject matter expert for force protection and convoy escort operations in Haiti, Afghanistan, and Iraq. Lee also served with distinction on the Haitian Presidential Protection Unit as a senior advisor to the Director of Presidential Security Operations. Subsequently, he served as the Regional Director for the Middle East and Country Manager of Iraq. He also performed the duties of Program Manager for security operations supporting the most massive warehouse and logistical facility in-country with over 900 local, national employees. Mr. Sharon served as the Deputy Chief of Party/Country Security Manager for Afghanistan and the Country Director of Security Iraq, with a force consisting of 3,000 Ugandans, 2,000 local nationals, and Expat security operators. Lee has over 45 years of service in both the military and the private sector. During his 20-year career with the United States Army, Lee served most of his time in the Special Operations community and was a founding member of 1st SFOD-D (Delta). A combat veteran with three tours of duty in Vietnam, as well as numerous other smaller conflicts, Lee served seven years in Iraq and over two years in Afghanistan. Lee’s awards include; Silver Star, two Bronze Stars, and the Defense Meritorious Service Medal.

Lee has extensive experience operating under conditions of extreme stress in destabilized environments and was instrumental in the development of tactical procedures still in use today. Lee’s expertise in conducting protective operations in high-threat security environments spans five continents, including service in El Salvador with the US State Department’s Diplomatic Security Service, responsible for the security of Ambassador Robert White during the height of rebel conflict in the country. He also served as the General Services Officer for the USAID office in Port au Prince, Haiti. He was responsible for the security of its staff and facilities during the end of the Baby Doc Duvalier regime, a period of extreme tension in Haiti.

Lee settled in Haiti in 1982, and even though he’s back in Florida, he still owns property there. Lee founded the first private industrial security company in Port au Prince and grew the organization to over 850-armed security officers, with clientele such as USAID. During the 2010 earthquake, he was the owner/operator of a secure compound/hotel with office facilities in the Port-au-Prince area. Lee speaks English, Haitian Creole, and has a working knowledge of French, German, and Spanish.

Randy 'Doc' Haight - Senior Director, Crisis Response


Mr. Haight plans, directs, supervises, and executes the delivery of evacuations and personal protective operations for high profile corporate and private sector clients traveling in the United States and high-risk environments abroad. As well, he provides security and business-related consulting for corporate and private sector clients, government contractors, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). With a significant background in Crisis Management and Crisis Response, Mr. Haight assists clients in developing crisis management and crisis response plans and training. Mr. Haight manages the Crisis Assistance Team (CAT) in support of Crisis Response to clients globally. He has participated in multiple evacuations of clients from hostile environments throughout the world. Mr. Haight has traveled to various high-risk countries in support of the US Government, its contractors, and FocusPoint International clients, including Pakistan, Afghanistan, Europe, Asia, and Latin America.

Mr. Haight has traveled extensively on every continent except Antarctica. He has over 30 years of law enforcement and security experience, having served as a Police Sergeant in a major California metropolitan police agency and as a Supervisory Special Agent with the US Departments of Treasury and Justice. Doc has extensive experience in conducting Protective Operations, having served on various Protective Details in support of the United States Secret Service and the US State Department. He has also provided security for a variety of high-profile celebrities and high-net-worth individuals in the US and abroad. Mr. Haight served as a Hospital Corpsman (medic) with the United States Navy and served as a Platoon Corpsman with both Navy and Marine Corps Units. His last assignment in the Navy was to a Naval Security Group.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from the University of the State of New York and a master’s degree in Strategic Intelligence from the American Military University. Doc is bilingual in English and Spanish. Mr. Haight is a member of a Northern California Search and Rescue Team and is a certified military freefall parachutist and combat swimmer.
